BIOGRAFIA
The Black Eyed Peas es un grupo estadounidense de R&B, pop y hip hop, seis veces ganador del premio Grammy. Originarios de Los Ángeles, California, el grupo está integrado por Will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo y Fergie.
Desde el lanzamiento de su tercer álbum, Elephunk, en 2003, el grupo se ha vuelto una de las bandas más exitosas de la década. El grupo obtuvo su primer éxito mundial "Where Is the Love?" en 2003, que superó más de diez cartas de todo el mundo. Otro single fue el éxito europeo "Shut Up" y Let's Get It Started, este último otorgándoles un Grammy. Su siguiente álbum, Monkey Business fue también un éxito en todo el mundo, certificado 4 discos de Platino en los EE.UU., y los éxitosos singles: "My Humps" y "Don't Phunk with My Heart" siendo sus segundo y tercer Grammy respectivamente.
En 2009, el grupo se convirtió en uno de los 11 artistas que han ido al mismo tiempo ocupando el # 1 y # 2 lugar en el Billboard Hot 100, con sus sencillos "Boom Boom Pow" y "I Gotta Feeling" que en promedio suman 26 semanas consecutivasch por encima de todos, siendo el grupo que más semanas ha estado en dicho lugar. Con el siguiente single "Meet Me Halfway logran un éxito similar a los dos singles anteriores, obteniendo al igual que ellos muy buenos puestos en las listas musicales. El álbum más tarde produjo por tercera vez un número uno con "Imma Be", por lo que el grupo es de los pocos de poner siempre tres singles número uno en las listas del mismo álbum, antes de ser seguido con "Rock That Body", que logró también ser un gran éxito en el Top 10 del Hot 100.
